Crosby Street Hotel

Style, Sophistication & Detail
Visiting the Crosby Street Hotel is a bit like tumbling down the rabbit hole after Alice. This boldly unapologetic wonderland is entirely the work of ‘Queen of Eclectic’ designer and owner Kit Kemp. Mrs. Kemp is no Alice, although she might be related to the Cheshire Cat with her beaming smile and penchant for fuchsia stripes.

Situated on a quiet cobbled street in SoHo, in the heart of New, the hotel is unassuming from the outside. Guests walking into this building enter a world of floor-to-ceiling windows, drawing rooms, gardens and plants; all contrasted against bold décor and brilliant color schemes that shift from room to room.

Each of the 86 bedrooms and suites may share common layout, but each is individually designed, varying in experience and color from bold rose and fuchsia stripes to wooden birds-nest lanterns.

The Moroccan-themed Crosby Bar and Terrace offers a completely green menu, growing their own vegetables on the roof of the kitchen and offering a menu of healthy and striking dishes like curried lentil soup, rabbit Ragu with black peppered ricotta, pan roasted sea bass, and blueberry crisp sundaes.

With all of New York waiting outside, the hotel needs little in the way of facilities, but nonetheless offers a 24-hour gym with the latest Technogym resistance and aerobics, and a 99 seat screening room including 3D technology.

The undaunted spirit of Mrs. Kemp has brought a stunning addition to New York in what is sure to become a legend in boutique hotels and artistic flair.
